Meet the Founders

  • CLINICIAN FOUNDER

Clara stumbled across neuroscience in high school and fell in love – what makes us who we are and why? In college, she majored in neuroscience (phi beta kappa). She worked as a life sciences consultant specializing in behavioral health, digital health, and biopharma.

She graduated with an MD/MBA from Yale Schools of Medicine and Management and is now pursuing psychiatry at Yale.

She has witnessed firsthand – and continues to witness – the failures of our mental health system. She is excited to dedicate her life to improving the quality of mental health care as a clinician entrepreneur.

  • TECHNICAL FOUNDER

Gary graduated from Stony Brook University with a Master's in Computer Science. He began his career in FinTech, spending five years developing technology solutions before transitioning to health tech at Flatiron Health for another five years.

At Flatiron, Gary focused on optimizing EMR application performance and reliability, as well as enhancing application scalability and architecture.

Gary is now dedicated to leveraging data and AI to enhance patient care in mental health through Lucid.Care, providing advanced analytics and insights to deliver personalized care and transform user interactions with their health data.
