Lucid wins the American Psychiatric Association’s pitch competition
At the American Psychiatric Association’s (APA’s) Annual Meeting in May 2024, Lucid took home the Judge’s Award of “Most Promising Innovation.”
Lucid was selected as one of three finalists to compete at the Mental Health Innovation Zone, a dedicated space at the Annual Meeting to discuss technological innovation in psychiatry. Each team had 15 minutes to pitch and answer a Q&A. Clara shared Lucid’s vision, tailored to clinicians, of closing the “Data Gap” that plagues the clinician-patient interaction.
What does this win mean?
Winning the APA’s pitch competition was huge validation for us that we’re on the right path of creating a tool loved by clinicians and patients to complement and bolster mental health care. It was amazing to stand in front of our key users (and customers) and share what we’re building.
It also opened the door to some amazing mentorship opportunities, allowing us to learn from and gather feedback from experts in the field.
